About the Teacher!

With over 25 years of experience in child care and early education, Manju brings both expertise and passion to her preschool. She holds a degree in Child Care from Banaras Hindu University and has worked in respected programs, including Montessori schools and large daycare centers.

Through her years of teaching, Manju realized that many larger preschools struggled to give children the individual attention, creativity, and nurturing environment they truly need to thrive. Inspired by this, she created Manju’s Art and Play Preschool—a warm, home-based setting where each child is encouraged to learn, grow, and express themselves through art, play, and personalized care.

Why you should choose at-home preschool for your child

Choosing an at-home preschool offers children the benefits of a truly personal learning environment. With fewer students in each class, your child receives one-on-one attention that supports their unique learning style, interests, and pace. In smaller groups, teachers (like my mom) are able to observe, support, and respond to each child’s needs—whether in academic concepts, emotional growth, or creative exploration—rather than being spread thin across many students.

In these intimate settings, social and emotional development often flourish more quickly. Kids can build strong peer relationships, grow in confidence, and feel seen and heard. They learn cooperation, sharing, conflict resolution, and kindness in a setting where each interaction matters. When children are not lost in the crowd, their curiosity, creativity, and sense of safety and belonging are nurtured—laying a stronger foundation for lifelong learning.
